Bountiful Ecology

With tectonic movement and its various landforms, monsoon, unique currents and subtropical high elevation, Taiwan has rich bio-diversity. From coastal wetlands to meadows in subtropical high mountains, and from tropical ecology to moderate alpine ecology, the ecological diversity of Taiwan is literally parallel to its geo-diversity. Both land ecology and marine and island ecology have enriched Taiwan’s landscape and culture.
